Autumn 2008 sees the premiere of our new production The Sun Has Got His Hat On inspired by the classic Bob Marley song 'Three Little Birds (Don't worry 'bout a thing)' along with the rhythms of carnival and the Anansi folk tales of the Caribbean. The production is supported by The Trinidad & Tobago High Commission with funding from Arts Council England (WM) and the Sir Barry Jackson Trust. The Sun Has Got His Hat On will feature colourful shadow puppets from land, sea and sky presenting comic animal tales in a romp of musical storytelling with puppets. It includes specially comissioned music highlighting the reggae, soca, calypso and chutney rhythms of Trinidad Carnival. The show is aimed at the twos to fives - but sixes and sevens will have fun too and so will their parents and grand-parents. Everyone loves carnival!

Touring from October 2008 to Summer 2009.

Suitable for small scale venues seating up to 300.
